The FCC is preparing to update the current broadband benchmark of 25 Mbps download/3 Mbps upload to 100/20 Mbps, but will this be enough to sustain rural areas?

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) says it is not and without raising the benchmark to 100/100 Gbps (or 1 gigabit per second), rural communities will be left behind.
