What is the Callabyte Cares Campaign?

Callabyte Technology's business is about more than providing communication services to our subscribers. We also care about the communities we serve. Our expansion of services has reached un- and underserved areas in central Missouri. It helps to level the playing field for small towns by bringing opportunities to families and businesses to help them grow and thrive.

Caring goes beyond offering a service

Caring about communities includes charitable activities and organizations within those communities. We realize these exist to improve lives of local citizens in need. We have worked to support them either by volunteering at activities, hosting and supporting food drives and creating subscriber sign up campaigns which result in additional donations to local charities.

How has Callabyte impacted local charities?

Since 2020, Callabyte has donated over $65,000 to local charities.

What charities has Callabyte supported?

Callabyte has supported Serve, Inc of Callaway County with coat and can drives, monetary donations and in 2022 and 2023, a subscriber sign up campaign. Callabyte has also supported Callaway County United Way with a subscriber sign up campaign in 2023 and again in 2024.  In addition, support has been provided to Special Olympics, the Salvation Army, the Tebbetts Community Picnic, Mokane Lions Club, Callaway County Youth Expo, Hermann Food Pantry, Reach Community Church and iCan Bike Camp in Fulton, MO. 

United Way 2024 Callabyte Cares

Callabyte Cares teamed up with the Callaway County United Way to encourage new subscribers from July 15-August 15 to sign up for Callabyte service, enjoy a free month of internet and help us give back to United Way.

The campaign was a success, allowing Callabyte to donate $13,045 to Callaway County United Way. The donation was made possible by our pledge of $25 per new subscriber to CCUW. Great support from new subscribers, along with current subscribers who donated to CCUW during the campaign, and a $5,000 community matching partnership with our financial lender, CoBank, allowed for the donation.

The money will be used by CCUW to help support their mission to improve the lives of residents in Callaway County. By partnering with 11 local non-profit organizations, CCUW helps the most vulnerable citizens in our communities.

As always, we look forward to serving new subscribers and are thankful to all who helped make this donation possible.

United Way 2023 Callabyte Cares

The Callabyte Cares campaign donated a total of $13,128 to Callaway County United Way in early August, 2023. The donation was made possible by a pledge of $25 per new subscriber throughout the month of July to CCUW. Great support from new subscribers, along with current subscribers who donated to $203 CCUW in the month of July and a $5,000 community matching partnership with our financial lender, CoBank, allowed for the donation. The money is used to help support CCUW’s mission to improve the lives of residents in Callaway County by partnering with 11 local non-profit organizations that help the most vulnerable citizens in our communities.

Serve 2023 Callabyte Cares Campaign

Another awesome campaign with Serve, Inc of Callaway County took place in November, 2023. With the help of new subscriber sign-ups, Callabyte was able to donate $2,850 to Serve. We again pledged a donation of $25 per sign up and had great success. Thank you to all who supported Serve while also receiving a fast, reliable internet connection from Callabyte. The donation helps support Serve's food pantry and provides for those in need within our Callaway County communities during the holiday season. Serve 2022 Callabyte Cares Campaign

During the month of November, 2022 Callabyte pledged to donate $25 to Serve, Inc of Callaway County for every new Callabyte subscriber. The month exceeded expectations, making the total donation $3,800. This donation helped Serve continue their food pantry and give to those in need within our community through the holiday season. Along with the donation to Serve, new subscribers who signed up during the month received their first month of internet FREE. The support of new subscribers was wonderful.
