Signed up for service with them 2 years ago and paid a $100 fee. Which they now don't charge. I called back in early July 2020 to see about getting that refunded since they no longer charge the fee. Called and talked to Danielle and they said they would be able to put a credit on my account. Just received my bill this month and notice that no credit wasn't issued. So I called and asked why I didn't have my credit on my account. They now say they have no recognition of this call or notes on my account about it. When I first called I figured they wouldn't refund me and when they said they would I thrilled. Now not getting a refund i'm upset and frustrated how they can lie about it. Along with not go back less than a month ago and listen to the recording of the phone call. In my opinion and a few others that have gotten their service at the beginning and had to pay the $100 or even the $200 sign up fee. Feel that we are the ones that helped them get started and let them know that the need for better internet would be welcome in our area. We should get our money back in either check or credit on our account. These people are no different than any other cable company and will screw you one way or another.

Kim, you are missing the point of why i'm upset with Callabyte. I called just to see if I could get the sign up fee money back and was told yes it will be a credit on my account. Come to my surprise as I didn't think that I would be able to and would have been fine with that. Next bill comes along and didn't see it. So now I just got lied to and that doesn't sit well with me. I have asked for a copy of the recording and have not gotten it yet. Kim if you can do something for me and want to focus your attention on getting me a copy of that recording that would be great.

However, we do have opportunities for existing subscribers along the way. We invite you to keep an eye on the Rural Missouri magazine , our monthly e-newsletters, website, etc for more information.
